I’m Mimi Barnett, an internationally recognized fashion designer with over 30 years of experience in couture and bespoke fashion. My journey began in the Philippines and has taken me to international runways, designing for high‑profile clients, including celebrities, government officials, public figures, and distinguished private clients.
Fashion has always been my language of expression. I design for both men and women, creating elegant couture gowns, bridal and evening wear, sophisticated suits, barongs, and formal attire. My style blends timeless elegance with modern sophistication, refined craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail.
Every creation I make is inspired by art, culture, travel, and the individuality of the person wearing it. Whether classic and understated or bold and glamorous, my goal is always to make each client feel confident, refined, and uniquely themselves.
For me, fashion is more than creating beautiful clothes, it’s about telling stories, celebrating identity, and creating something unforgettable.

Every collection begins with a vision, a mood, a silhouette, a beautiful fabric, or simply the desire to create something extraordinary.
My aesthetic moves effortlessly between understated refinement and dramatic glamour. I am drawn to graceful lines, sculpted forms, fluid movement, unexpected textures, and details that reveal themselves beautifully up close. I enjoy contrast: softness against structure, simplicity beside embellishment, and classic influences interpreted with a fresh point of view.
Fabric often leads my creative process. The richness of silk, the delicacy of lace, the movement of chiffon and organza, the character of brocade and jacquard, or the brilliance of hand-applied pearls, crystals, embroidery, and feathers can inspire an entire look. I choose materials not only for their beauty, but for the way they fall, move, catch the light, and transform on the body.
My inspiration has no boundaries. It can come from architecture, art, history, nature, travel, old-world glamour, cultural traditions, or the energy of modern life. This freedom allows me to create across different aesthetics and for both women and men, from romantic and graceful to sleek, powerful, avant-garde, or beautifully dramatic.
I believe exceptional design should leave an impression without needing an introduction. That is what I strive to create with every Mimi Barnett collection.
